The Kingdom is being built, piece by piece, brick by brick. 

We have sent out the surveys for you to select the type of deck you would like for your set; which natural wood for your deluxe boxes and sets, as well as the card for your free signed print by the artist.  

If you missed out on that extra deck or want to take advantage of the special pricing on the Deluxe ROK Set, you are still able to do so. The free print signed by the artist will be included as well with this Deluxe Set. If you have any questions on how to complete your survey or how to order additional rewards, please let us know.

We are including the images from both the medieval and Renaissance deck to help with the selection of the print art image.

News from the Kingdom - Regrouping

The Right of Kings is now on the way to become a reality and YOU made it happen. We thank you all for your words of support and encouragement from the beginning of our project. You are the best!  

We would like to especially thank all the groups that supported us and were there for us all along the way. Special thanks to Max Playing cards, Kardify, Gameosity, Analog Games and the Dice Tower; also to all the forums, portals and blogs that allowed us to share and spread our ideas.

It was an intense campaign but all in all worth it to the very last minute and it is not over! We will be updating you weekly or more frequently if necessary, so you know where we’re at every step of the way.

Let’s start with the timeline:

Kickstarter will transfer all available funds two weeks after the project closes, that will be somewhere around April 24th. Based on our timeline, production officially starts on Saturday, April 15th. However, we have already preordered some of the elements so there would be no impact on our shipping target date. 

What’s happening this week? 

 We are setting up our site with BackerKit. Once we receive the confirmation from Kickstarter we will be sending the surveys, this is where you will be able to choose all of your options. You would choose between Medieval and Renaissance decks, any add-ons you might have chosen and the customization options where available.  

If anything happens in between... we'll update you promptly.

Great News from the Kingdom

We made it!!!

The battle is not over but we have crossed the line; we wouldn't have done it without your support and trust in our project.  Thank you all for supporting The Right of Kings.

We are still in our final hours, we will send a closing update tomorrow. 

We also have an added bonus for all those who have pledged for one of our wood deck boxes or sets.  With your pledge we will include FREE name engraving.

News from the kingdom - vol 5 - Video update

Hi,

We thank you for your patience!  Some of you were asking for a simple video to show a simplified version of the Rules of engagement. The video illustrates how to set-up the game, some examples of the typical play rounds, and the use of the power cards.

You will learn how to assemble your court, build your army, make good use of your jesters, control the Oreka and finally how to unveil the king.

Please let us know what you think. 

On another note, we have some news from the heralds...The Right of Kings game was created with a series of expansion sets in mind. What you see right now is the basic set and standard play. 

Very soon we'll release a new power card. THE SIEGE. The siege card is a fundamental part of the Frontier expansion set that has been conceived as one of our stretch goals.

News from the Kingdom -Preparing for the final battle

First and foremost we wanted to thank you all for you amazing support and encouraging comments that inspire us to make this project a reality. 

We are only a few days away from the end of our campaign and as you know we are falling short from our goal.  We have been looking for creative ways to get there. And we are not giving up. We will fight until our very last breath! 

 On our final week we are making some changes and we want you to be the first ones to know and act upon them. First, we are accelerating two of our pre-planned stretch goals for a limited time and at a very special price. 

1. We will be including for a limited time The Siege – an expansion pack for the Right of Kings game that includes: 

• 1 special edition box, numbered and signed
• 1 “siege” card 
• 8 wooden town pieces
• 1 Extra combat dice 

 The Siege expansion pack extends the map-board functionality and provides a more strategic approach to reaching the Oreka. If you already have the ROK game original version you may upgrade to the Siege expansion by just adding $2.00 to your pledge.

We will move our project to the board games section. Due to the nature of our project, where we combine both offers - playing cards and the game, we have received several recommendations to try on the board game section. We decided to give it a try. So don’t worry, we’ll still be here.
We know that there are far more projects on the board game category and more competition, but we are betting on a fresh look and more traffic than what we are getting from playing cards. 

 We are working day and night to make this project happen, and we’re also very open to any ideas that you could bring to the table. You will hear more often from us as we approach the final and decisive days of this campaign
